Our History

East Shore Sound was founded in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in 1993 as an A/V company serving doctor’s offices and small churches.  Business grew steadily and began to expand regionally. In 1997, the business moved south to Jarrettsville, Maryland in order to be more centrally located between Harrisburg, Philadelphia, and the Baltimore/Washington area. Over the years the company has developed and widened it’s breadth of services from simple A/V projects for small local businesses to undertaking major national contracts including the broadcast wiring of the entire Redskins Stadium (FedEx Field) and engineering support to major television broadcasts such as Christmas in Washington, the Presidential Inauguration: Opening Ceremonies, and the National Memorial Day Concert and Capitol 4th of July shows on the West Lawn of the United States Capitol in Washington, DC.

With its incorporation in April of 2001, the company chose to focus on Audio/Visual System Design and Installation as the primary of its three business lines. Where many of our larger competitors merely provide installation services, East Shore Sound provides engineered solutions specific to each project. We look at a client’s need from the end user’s perspective and design a solution based on the highest quality equipment that stays within the client’s budget constraints and allows for easy system expansion in the future. In other words, we put our years of experience in the industry to work directly for each client project.
